80.
Put on a favorite CD or tape and dance to the music. Make sure
the music really inspires you to move your body, the kind of
music where you can’t sit still! Try moving your whole body in
ways you normally don’t – experiment to see how it feels to
really cut loose.
81.
Put on some music that you like to sing to and let your voice
express the feelings you’re having. Sing as loud as you like (as
long as you don’t bother your neighbors). You can sing in the
shower and when you’re driving your car as well (don’t be
critical of your voice or your singing).
82.
Take all the forms of your favorite music (audio tapes, CD's,
records) and make them into one audiotape on your stereo tape
recorder. Create a medley of your favorite dance, listening or
other music to enjoy in your car or at home. I did this with
some dance music and I love to listen to the tape so much I made
several copies to have on hand no matter where I am. If
you’re computer savvy, you could put all the music on a CD or
DVD.
83.
Keep music you love and inspirational audiotapes or CD’s in your
car at all times. Then if you’re caught in traffic, you can
enjoy some great music or hear an inspiring talk. You can also
listen to educational tapes or CD’s to learn about any subject
you’re interested in, including a foreign language.
84. If you’ve never done it, borrow or rent a drum. Try
playing it inside your house and then try it outside. You may
find you like drumming very much! Some possible drums to try are
native American, African or bongos. If you have a friend with a
set of drums, try those as well.
